Ah, I miss Toshiko and Owen. I'd watch a bit and think if Tosh was there, she would be doing this, and if Owen was there, he'd have gotten the bomb out of Jack before it blew up. Lois could make a nice addition but handy as she is, she doesn't have Toshiko's genius with a computer.
For some reason the super sekrit commando unit doesn't seem to have very skilled snipers. I'd always thought that to be a sniper, you had to be an exceptionally good shot. So how in the world did the sniper miss a cakewalk of a shot at Gwen? Not just the once either. And also couldn't seem to hit Ianto. BAD SNIPER! No cookie for you!
I don't mind the story arc at all but I do mind them doing a shortened season with just one arc. And I bloody well refuse to pay $100 for it when it comes out on DVD! I'll watch my downloads instead, thank you very much. Not much in the way of spoilers, as I'm still wondering along with the cast as to what these aliens are, and what connection do they have specifically with the UK and why the PM's office seems to think Jack knows all about what's going to happen. It goes back to the older guy and the kids he was with, that suffered the same phenomenon. Maybe the government did something hinky to the aliens and the aliens are back to take them to task for it?
And why aren't they trying harder--or at all--to hook up with Martha Jones?
